With the passage of time comes new and exciting challenges, and here at Geberit we have many but our focus remains on mutual strength, unity and driving success together.
In 2015 Geberit acquired the Sanitec Group, which led to the introduction of many brands, including Twyford, into the portfolio. With this acquisition, Geberit has extended its portfolio so that we can now offer a more complete bathroom solution. The period of transformation which followed has included many changes as the different business and structures became one, but nearly four years on we know that our brand is stronger than ever.
Last year Geberit Group decided to simplify the brand portfolio by integrating some European brands, such as Keramag, Allia, and Sphinx into the Geberit name. This process has already started and will be completed over the next few years. In the UK, the decision was taken to maintain the Twyford brand as it has a specific appeal to certain markets and channels. This means that we will be continuing to grow both Geberit and Twyford in the UK, but clearly in premium retail the focus will be on Geberit.
With this in mind, as continue our journey our focus is on providing support to our partners. Partnership is one of our core brand values and we cannot emphasise enough the importance of working with you to benefit both businesses. This intensifies this year as we are launching new products, new literature and new marketing approaches, all to build success in 2021 and beyond
